Supporting local businesses, schools, and those organizations which seek to make Paducah a thriving community is crucial for Paducah’s continued growth and betterment.
Because it is our local workforce that pays for services, debt, and infrastructure, I believe we need to use local resources to solve local problems. The design of the McCracken County Public Library is a great example of local talent at work. Co-creation and co-design of solutions allows citizen engagement and a deeper affection for our town. This applies to all ages of citizens. The inclusion of residents in the design of the new park at 13th and Madison is a great example of how we are engaging and developing citizens.
